Attention to our students who are in the final year of graduation and taking pedagogical formation courses,

Our university has provided the opportunity for pedagogical formation education to our undergraduate students.

Students who benefit from this opportunity and are in the graduation status are required to fill out the petition provided in the attachment regarding their graduation status and send it to our school via gubyo@mehmetakif.edu.tr.

INFORMATION ABOUT PEDAGOGICAL FORMATION

Students who take pedagogical formation education courses as elective courses but do not complete all of them will only have the courses they have taken and passed listed on their transcript. 

In order for the statement “Completed Pedagogical Formation Education.” to be included on the student's diploma, they must successfully complete all courses (a total of 40 ECTS including the Teaching Practice course).

Final year students who take pedagogical formation courses as elective courses in the spring semester and fulfill all the requirements for graduation from their registered program will have their graduation procedures carried out at the end of the spring semester if they request it.

Students who fulfill all the requirements for graduation from their registered program but wish to continue taking elective courses within the scope of formation education in writing will:

1.       Continue to take formation elective courses in the 2022-2023 Academic Year Summer School (excluding the Teaching Practice) or in the 2023-2024 fall semester.

2.       After successfully completing all courses within the scope of pedagogical formation (including the Teaching Practice), their graduation procedures will be carried out at the end of the relevant term and the statement “Completed Pedagogical Formation Education.” will be included on their diploma.
